I took a test in my A+ repair class the other day and got a 100 on it. Curious to look at the coding as I love web design and know a good amount, I peeked at the source code. After much much frustration I decided to ask some people how this works. I can see the answers are set with the variables near the beginning, problem is it doesn't really match the answers that are correct. So I am amazingly curious as to how it works. The answers are:

selection text problem

Before starting I want to apologize for my English, i'm from Spain, but in spanish forums do not know as much as.
I'm creating a Rich Text Editor and I need know when the text selected are within a determinate tag.
I have a problem with getSelection() method because when i select the text not get forever the same. For example:

Well, when i select "RL" letters, getSelection().anchorNode.parentNode should return the node with style="color: blue" long as they select from left to right. The problem is that getSelection().anchorNode.parentNode does not always return the node with style="color:blue". Why? I know, if i put the pointer between O and R, and then write the new letters will color red if previous...

i have a page named [COLOR="Red"]pck_rates.php[/COLOR] which contains a form that go to the page[COLOR="DarkRed"] update_pck_rates.php[/COLOR]

when i press updade data button in the second page i want the first page to be refreshed to show the new data's.

i want to know if i can set a name to the page [COLOR="Red"] pck_rates.php[/COLOR] and after the update query in the second page i will refresh the [COLOR="Red"]pck_rates.php[/COLOR] page using this name??

i don't know what is the function and how to make this idea.
can anyone help me please

Hi there to be honest ive seen it done much better than that all hes done is turned a old woman in to a computer generated younger faximely of her self it looks fake
i have seen it done to still look real they are basic techniques that he as used slow the video down or pause it alot and you can see exactly what tools he was using

popup image loading problem

Hi ,

Pls solve it

Javascript problem. I have a page called gallery.html in which we have photo albums.when u click on one of the photo albums opens up all images belongs to that album on same page ( javascript). when click on one of the images it has to open up in a popup ( including other images) which is happening but the probleem is that when u close popup and again click on same images popup is happening but images are not loading.

what might be the problem ..pls solve it .......its too urgent

If you create the objects in different layers, and adjust them within those layers individually, you should be able to alter the direction of the shadows separately.

Grab filename to text layer in batch

Is it possible to grab the filename of an image and then create a text layer from that oh Photoshop's batch, or would I have to write a plugin script to do that?

e.g. take filename: #24_Forward_6'6"_Kobe Bryant.png

and create a text layer which has:

I just ran into something similar, 1200+ images I needed to make 400x400 square for web use. Couldn't find a way for Photoshop alone to do it, but I came up with a workaround with the help of Adobe Bridge (hopefully you have, but if not a trial version should get you by).

First, just open Bridge and navigate to the folder with all of your images. Next, up by your rating star thing in the top right will be your sort options, change that to Sort by Dimensions. This will group all images with a greater vertical dimension first, then all your square ones, then all with a greater horizontal dimension. I'd use the "Essentials" workspace for this btw, that way you can keep an eye on the dimensions in the Metadata palette (lower right) as you scroll through to find where one group ends and the next starts.

From here I just created three new folders on my desktop, Vertical, Square & Horizontal, and copied each group into it's corresponding folder.
